      REDLINES/ LAYOUT & CANDUIT SCHEDULE

Design planning for feeders, homeruns, and branch conduits that feed equipment and devices.

      2

      MODELING

Once redlines are complete, we will create intelligent 3D model in Revit.

      3

      COORDINATION

Wise and Clash-Free coordination that provides the best possible routes.

      SHOP DRAWINGS

Provide with all-in-one sheet information made with the installation process in mind.

      Layout (Redlines) & Conduit Schedule

To lay out the main distribution systems for the project, we start with analyzing Specs and Engineering Contract Drawings (Single Line Diagrams, Feeder Schedule, Floor Plans and Panel Schedules). Then we create proposed conduit routing in Bluebeam for further 3D Revit modeling. Finally, our team will provide you with the most optimal Conduit Layout and Conduit Schedule.

      Major layout design guidelines:

      • Conduit wire fill
      • Ampacity
      • Voltage drop
      • Pull box size and location

      Tools:

      Modeling

In the Modeling process, our main focus is on meeting Constructability requirements, optimal routing, and Code compliance. Our field experience allows us to apply typical construction practices along with Building Codes. The model will have all necessary Conduit Schedule data inside of each conduit for easier QA/QC and navigation.

      Typical guidelines:

      • The best possible routes to meet the 360° rule (or less if specified in specs).
      • Conduit Raceway most optimal routing and spacing.
      • Code clearances in front of electrical panels and dedicated Electrical space above.
      • In-slab conduit placement and routing rules will be taken from structural drawings and specifications.
      • Trapeze supports Configuration, size and placement typically 8ft (min 6ft max 10ft).
      • Accessibility of junction boxes and conduits for wire pull and post-construction FM access and maintenance.

      Tools:

      Coordination

Wise Construction Coordination is a major milestone of Electrical model development. Our main goal is to closely work with all MEPF trades to achieve not just a clash-free model, but to have the most efficient and constructible routes. Our team of experienced construction professionals considers all possible routing options and chooses the best one to minimize field cost and make installation easy.
